TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a man was fatally shot when he and a woman were robbed by two men in a park.
Sgt. Kimberly Bay says the woman who was with the man at Iron Horse Park Thursday evening wasn’t injured and that the two suspects ran away after one shot the man.
Bay says police responded a short time later to another shooting after which a man was hospitalized with serious injuries. She says it isn’t known whether the incidents are related.
One of the suspects in the park shooting was described as Hispanic, 5-foot-8, 200 pounds and last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a dark blue shirt. The other suspect was described as 5-foot-8 with a skinny build and wearing a black baseball hat and red bandanna.
