NEWTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania school principal has spent a chilly night on the roof after his students raised money for a school in Houston after Hurricane Harvey.

Tim Long was awake Wednesday on the roof of the Newtown Middle School.

Long had told his students he would sleep on the roof if they raised $8,000 for the elementary school in Houston that they had adopted after Harvey. It took them two weeks to do it.
