SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia man who was shot in an August altercation that left one man dead and another injured has been indicted on several charges.

The Savannah Morning News reports that a Chatham County grand jury indicted 24-year-old Dominique Romon Jackson on Wednesday on charges of malice murder and felony murder during the commission of an aggravated assault in the Aug. 3 shooting death of Dontray Hart.

The grand jury also indicted Jackson for aggravated assault with a handgun in the shooting of Theron Early, who suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

Jackson was shot, but his injuries weren’t life-threatening, and apprehended a few streets from the shooting. He’s also charged with two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

It’s unclear if Jackson has a lawyer.
