BUCKSPORT, Maine (AP) - Maine police say a 26-year-old man is in custody after two people were shot near an apple orchard.

WCSH-TV reports that police say they charged Cory Turcotte with aggravated assault for shooting two men in a parking lot Wednesday night near Wight’s Apple Orchard in Bucksport.

The men who were shot were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Police said Turcotte was being held at the Hancock County Jail. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
