RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City man had been found guilty in a fatal stabbing at a motel.

Twenty-six-year-old Nathan Chase maintained he was acting in self-defense when he stabbed 30-year-old Jeremy Little at the Dakota Rose Inn in Rapid City in January.

Jurors in Pennington County on Wednesday found Chase guilty of second-degree murder.

Chase is facing a life prison sentence.
