HEMET, Calif. (AP) - Police in Southern California say officers responding to a domestic disturbance call shot and wounded a man who came at them with a knife.
KABC-TV reports the shooting happened Saturday night outside a Target store in Hemet after the suspect refused orders to drop the weapon and advanced toward police.
No officers or bystanders were injured.
The suspect was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not immediately identified.
