PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - State regulators are planning to tour part of the 192-mile (309-kilometer) route for the proposed Northern Pass transmission line in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Public Radio reports (https://bit.ly/2xVA696 ) the Site Evaluation Committee is planning to stop at more than a dozen spots between Plymouth and Deerfield on Tuesday.

The committee made site visits in the North Country in July.

Also Tuesday, local elected officials and community members are planning to hold a news conference on the project in the Plymouth Town Common on how it could affect the town and other communities. Republican State Sen. Bob Giuda, of Warren, and Republican Executive Councilor Joe Kenney are expected to attend.
