STOWE, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Transportation Agency says a section of Route 100 in Stowe south of the village will be closed temporarily for emergency repair to a culvert.

The section near Gold Book Road will be closed at 9 a.m. Thursday and reopen Friday evening.

The agency is asking drivers to seek alternative routes.

Northbound traffic will be detoured to Moscow Road and southbound traffic will be detoured to River Road.
