FARMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware police are investigating a fatal wreck that left one man dead.

Police say the crash occurred at roughly 1:15 a.m. on Sunday when 46-year-old Harry Ulhorn was driving southbound on Farmington Road and ran a stop sign. Police say Ulhorn drove off the south edge of the roadway and struck a tree. Police say Ulhorn wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Ulhorn’s passenger was wearing a seat belt, and was flown to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police say the cause of the wreck is under investigation though speed may have been a contributing factor.
