ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police have arrested a suspect in the theft of 36 guns from a gun and knife shop.

Police say 31-year-old Seth Kaufman is charged with burglary and theft. A second suspect is at large.

A $10,000 reward was offered in the case by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

Kaufman’s listed attorney, public defender Matt Widmer, said the case is being transferred to the Office of Public Advocacy and he could not comment.

The guns were stolen Sept. 7 from EDC Alaska.

Police acting on a tip found Kaufman at a motel. Police say he attempt to flee out a window and was subdued by a police dog.

Police recovered some of the missing guns.
