NORTON, Mass. (AP) - Police in Massachusetts have arrested a college student they say had more than five pounds of marijuana and several other drugs in his vehicle.

Norton police say an officer noticed a vehicle behind him at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday that was following too closely with its high beams on.

The officer stopped the vehicle and noticed the driver spraying aerosol and reaching for an open duffel bag. A search yielded the marijuana as well as what police say is cocaine, ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Police arrested 20-year-old Jedediah Daniel, of Shohola, Pennsylvania, a student at nearby Wheaton College. He was held pending arraignment Friday on drug charges.

It could not be determined if he has a lawyer. A Wheaton spokesman confirmed Daniel is a student but declined further comment.
