ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police say a man is in custody after a standoff with a SWAT team that lasted for hours.

Local news outlets report that police were called to an Atlanta duplex on a domestic disturbance call at 2:30 a.m. Friday. Atlanta police Lt. Christian Hunt said a woman told arriving officers that her boyfriend had fired gunshots at her.

Hunt says the man barricaded himself inside the duplex. A SWAT team surrounded the home and used pepper gas to gain entry and capture the man. No injuries were reported.
