1 dead after train-vehicle accident in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead after a train crashed into a vehicle in Wichita.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the Sedgwick County 911 dispatch says the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the vehicle died.

Wichita police are investigating. Police have yet to release any further information.
