MESA, Ariz. (AP) - A partial closure of a Phoenix-area freeway due to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian snarled traffic at the beginning of the Tuesday morning commute.
The crash at Val Vista Drive shortly before 4 a.m. closed westbound U.S. 60 at the Loop 202 freeway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation recommended that drivers consider alternate routes.
No additional information was released.
