Iran has long threatened to “wipe the Jewish state of Israel off the map.” Now it seems it may have the capability to do so.  The real Islamic State, the Islamic Republic of Iran, today with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, paraded a large missile through Tehran as it commemorated the Iran-Iraq War.  The Khoramshahr, the name of the newest missile, with a range of 1,250 miles was displayed in public for the first time.

State-run IRNA news agency quoted the chief of the Guard’s airspace division, Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, saying the missile “can carry several warheads for various uses,” reported Fox News.   “As it was observed, the missile has become smaller in size and more tactical and it will be operational in the near future,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the parade.

Speaking at the parade, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran would continue to develop its missile capability, no matter the remarks or demands of American President Donald Trump.  He also vowed to continue support for the “oppressed people of Yemen, Syria and Palestine,” meaning Iran would continue to sow instability and mayhem throughout the Middle East.

The Trump administration has inflicted additional sanctions against Iran and is trying to develop a clear policy on the Iran nuclear ‘deal’ that was supposedly ‘negotiated’ by the Obama administration.  In actually, the ‘deal’ just gave Iran access to tens of billions of dollars and an eventual nuclear weapons capability.

Iran and North Korea are also actively coordinating on nuclear development and sharing technology. Therefore, the crisis on the Korean Peninsula and Iranian actions are closely linked.
