BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (AP) - Officials in North Carolina have identified the body of a man found on some railroad tracks.
Local media outlets reported that the man found Wednesday was 51-year-old Gregory Duncan Stiles of Black Mountain.
Police Chief Shawn Freeman said officers are still investigating Stiles’ death.
Norfolk Southern railroad called Black Mountain police around 7 a.m. Wednesday about a possible body on the tracks. Officers arriving at the scene found Stiles’ body.
