LEHIGH, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say two people died when a motorcycle crashed in Webster County.

The accident occurred around 2:40 p.m. Sunday near Lehigh. The Iowa State Patrol says the motorcycle ran off a roadway into a ditch. The patrol says the driver lost control of the bike as it went back up an incline, and he and his passenger were thrown into a propane tank.

The two were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified as 58-year-old Tony Martz and his passenger as 58-year-old Tamara Wilson-Martz. They lived in Boone.
