PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Regional rail service through downtown Philadelphia is back up and running after transit officials coped with a power outage and a train evacuation.
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority said Wednesday service resumed through the stations in Center City.
The shutdown during the evening commute caused widespread delays of over an hour.

The agency says equipment problems on a train led some passengers to self-evacuate.
SEPTA spokeswoman Kristin Mestre-Velez says no injuries were reported.
