PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a woman was killed and two young girls were injured when their vehicle collided head-on with a trolley operated by the regional transit authority.

The crash happened Wednesday in the city’s Northern Liberties section.

Police say the 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the girls suffered scratches and a possible concussion, while the other, an infant, suffered minor injuries and was reported to be in stable condition.



No one on the trolley was injured.
