Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris was fined $25,000 by the NBA Saturday for his role in a Game 3 altercation with the Toronto Raptors at Capital One Arena.

Morris is close with his twin brother, Marcus Morris of the Boston Celtics, and coincidentally, that includes getting fined by the league on the same day.

Marcus Morris was docked $15,000 for criticizing the officials after Boston’s Game 3 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Markieff Morris got into a scuffle with Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby early in the Wizards’ Game 3 win, and Morris shoved an official who was breaking up the fight.

Neither brother was suspended for any playoff games for his actions.

The irony of the twins receiving fines so close together was not lost on basketball fans.
