DERBY, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut are investigating two fatal accidents.
A two-vehicle crash in Derby has killed one man and seriously injured another person.
Police say the crash involving a box truck and an SUV at about 2:30a.m. Tuesday closed Route 34.
Police did not immediately release the identity of the 36-year-old man who was killed or the 52-year-old man who was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The box truck ended up on its side and both vehicles had extensive damage.
Officials say a 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle died in a crash involving a car at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on Route 80 in North Branford. No names were released.
