NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - A lawyer for a 29-year-old Vermont man charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Connecticut girl says the man will undergo a mental health evaluation.

The Norwich Bulletin reports that Samuel Indenbaum appeared in court Wednesday, where his lawyer said his evaluation will be completed before his next court date of May 17.

Police allege Indenbaum drove from Athens, Vermont, to Norwich last September and sexually assaulted the girl.
