YANKTON, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say no foul play is suspected in the death of a man whose body was found in downtown Yankton.

Police say an autopsy determined that 39-year-old David Courtney died of positional asphyxiation. That happens when a person can’t get enough air to breathe due to the positioning of his or her body.

Courtney’s body was found Monday afternoon in a small gap between two buildings. Authorities identified the body through dental records and tattoos. Courtney had not been seen since January.
