PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Beaverton police say a man shot and killed his 80-year-old father.
Officer Bryan Dalton says the killing happened Friday morning, and 47-year-old Gregory Hall has been arrested on a murder charge.
Dalton says the son reported the shooting. The victim, Dennis Hall, was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injury.
Police not said what led up to the shooting.
The son is being held at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro.
