BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Police say a Louisiana man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside a laundromat last month.

The Advocate reports that 29-year-old Dwayne Bradley was arrested Wednesday and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a count of first-degree murder.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L’Jean McKneely Jr. says 23-year-old Joel Fealing died March 21 after exchanging gunfire with Bradley during a fight in the laundromat’s parking lot.

Police have said the two men met to conduct “some type of drug transaction” and were sitting in a vehicle when they started fighting and then shot each other. Bradley was released from a hospital after being treated, while Fealing died in surgery.

It’s unclear if Bradley has a lawyer.
