The Washington Mystics will play the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday with a trip to the WNBA Playoffs semifinal round on the line.

The No. 6 Sparks beat the Minnesota Lynx 75-68 Tuesday in their first-round contest, a rematch of the last two WNBA Finals. Point guard Chelsea Gray led Los Angeles with 26 points.

As the lower seed to advance Tuesday, the Sparks will play the No. 3 Mystics in Washington for Thursday’s elimination game. They’ll play at the Charles E. Smith Center on the campus of George Washington University.

The Sparks were just in Washington last Friday. The Mystics won 69-67 on a remarkable buzzer-beater by Natasha Cloud. Washington won their regular season series 2-1.

The Mystics and Sparks will tip off at 6:30 Eastern time, followed by the Phoenix Mercury visiting the Connecticut Sun in the 5-4 matchup at 8:30. If the Mystics win, they’ll advance to a best-of-five series with the No. 2 Atlanta Dream.
