LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man is dead after a shooting, but Las Vegas Metropolitan Police don’t yet know if it’s a suicide or he was shot by an officer.
Police say the incident began about 9 p.m. Saturday with a reported carjacking and stolen vehicle.
About 10:45 p.m., police received a call of a possible suicidal person.
Officers located the vehicle and pulled up behind it and police say a man shot at officers from inside the vehicle.
A police officer returned fire and the man was found dead inside the vehicle.
His name hasn’t been released yet.
