NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Coast Guard says crews have rescued a 43-year-old man and are looking for a 32-year-old woman missing in the big brackish lake that borders New Orleans.

A news release says Michael Lee Farley was found about 7 a.m. Monday, after an all-night search of Lake Pontchartrain (PONCH-uh-trane). Crews are still looking for Sadie Thibodaux (TIB-uh-doh).

Petty Officer Brandon Giles says he doesn’t know their hometowns.

The search began about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, after people reported a 34-foot sailboat floating in view of Lakefront Airport, with a dog and cellphones in it.

A helicopter, plane, and boats from the Coast Guard, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office were searching the 640-square-mile (1,600-square-kilometer) lake Monday.

The Coast Guard asks anyone with information to call.
