WATERBURY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say 15 people have been arrested in a drug investigation in southern Vermont.

Police said Friday that the investigation started this fall after Windham and Windsor counties saw an uptick in overdoses this year.

The suspects, mostly from Brattleboro, were arrested on various charges, including selling fentanyl, heroin and cocaine.

The defendants are being prosecuted by the state’s attorneys’ offices in the two counties.
