NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A teen has been arrested in the shooting death of a man in New Orleans earlier this month.
News outlets reported that New Orleans police arrested 18-year-old Abdul Madison on Thursday and charged him with second-degree murder.
Melvin Carter was found by his mother and girlfriend at an intersection Dec. 6. Carter was taken to a hospital where he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
It was not known if Madison has an attorney yet.
Police have not released a possible motive in the shooting.
