LAWRENCE, Mass. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of an 11-year-old girl in Massachusetts.
The Essex district attorney’s office says first responders were called to a home in Lawrence Saturday morning where they found Precious Wallaces.
Precious was flown by helicopter to Tufts Medical Center in Boston and placed on life support.

The district attorney’s office confirmed the girl’s death Tuesday evening.
Authorities have not said what lead to Precious being hospitalized.
A spokeswoman for the state Department of Children and Families says they are investigating her death along with local law enforcement.
The mayor of Haverhill says Precious attended Consentino Middle School, and grief counselors will be on campus for the rest of the week.
