PHILADELPHIA — Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy headed to the locker room Monday with a right lower leg injury and backup Mark Sanchez entered the game in the second quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles.

McCoy is questionable to return.

McCoy got up slow after Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins landed on his leg on the last play in the first quarter.

When he returned to the sideline, McCoy was attended to by Washington’s doctors. Sanchez soon started to warm up.

Sanchez entered the game with 9:36 left before halftime.

Sanchez was signed on Nov. 19 as a backup after starter Alex Smith suffered a season-ending broken leg.
