Central Falls man shot to death; police investigating

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (AP) - Central Falls police say a 22-year-old city man is dead following a shooting.

Christian Huertas Hernandez was shot in the abdomen around 8 p.m. Sunday on a city street. Police say they found him lying on the ground. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Central Falls police say the investigation is ongoing. They are asking anyone with information to contact them.
