ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - Officials say a woman found dead in a burning home in South Carolina died from smoke inhalation.

Anderson County Chief Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman told local media outlets that 45-year-old Kimberly Michelle Grant died in the fire that was reported around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters said the mobile home was engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Boseman said there was no heat source in the mobile home and apparently kerosene and oil had been used for warmth. He said Grant also liked to use candles in the home. The cause of the fire has not been determined.

Her body was found in a back bedroom.
