LYONS, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York man is in jail after authorities say he stripped naked in a stranger’s house and tried to bribe sheriff’s deputies not to arrest him.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Henry Mckenzie of Lyons was charged with criminal trespass and bribery after he disrobed in a house in his hometown Tuesday evening. The sheriff’s office says Mckenzie tried to bribe deputies with cash to let him go.

Authorities offered no explanation for Mckenzie’s behavior.
