CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A “Fugitive of the Week” accused of robbing three banks in New Hampshire has been found and arrested in Massachusetts.
The U.S. Marshal’s fugitive task force featured 24-year-old Daryl Gurley on its weekly media announcement Wednesday and on Feb. 14.
The marshals, along with the Lawrence, Massachusetts, Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration, conducted surveillance on a man matching Gurley’s description, seen walking into the bakery/restaurant. He was arrested without incident Wednesday.
Authorities say Gurley was wanted on numerous outstanding arrest warrants in both states, including bank robberies in Windham, Londonderry and Derry, New Hampshire. He faced a hearing in Lawrence on Thursday. Police say they found a drug believed to be fentanyl during his arrest.
It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.
