SOMERVILLE, Mass. (AP) - Police say a 23-year-old Cambridge woman was dragged by a car after a crash in Somerville.

Massachusetts State Police say after a collision Friday night, the woman got out of her car and approached the driver of the other vehicle.

Police say that’s when the driver of the other vehicle took off with the woman attached to his vehicle. Police say the woman was dragged about a quarter mile before she broke free.

She was taken to the hospital and her condition Saturday was not immediately known.

Police say the driver of the other car later went to the police barracks and talked to authorities. No charges have been filed.
