HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man wanted for killing a 74-year-old man in his South Carolina home on Christmas Eve has been arrested during a home invasion at another house.

Darlington County Sheriff’s Lt. Robby Kilgo said 48-year-old Curtis Nelson was taken into custody by deputies called to a home in Hartsville on Friday night.

Investigators in Florence County said Nelson was one of five suspects in the shooting death of 74-year-old Johnny Cameron inside his Lake City home Christmas Eve.

Authorities have released few details about either home invasion.

Nelson was being held without bond in the Darlington County jail. Records didn’t indicate if he had a lawyer.
