SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls man police say a 25-year-old man is being held for kidnapping a woman outside a Walmart store.
Police said Monday the kidnapping happened about 8:30 p.m. Friday when the man “body slammed” a woman into the front seat of a car and drove away.
Witnesses were able to give police a description of the car and part of its license plate number. Police spokesman Sam Clemens says officers later found the car in the Good Samaritan parking lot. The 23-year-old woman was not seriously injured. The man was arrested on possible kidnapping, assault and false imprisonment charges.
