NEW YORK (AP) - Police are searching for a man who allegedly cut off his wife’s arm during a domestic dispute in Brooklyn.
Police say the woman’s arm was severed just above the elbow. She also lost two fingers from her other hand in the attack in Sunset Park Thursday afternoon.
The 35-year-old woman was hospitalized and is expected to survive, but will likely lose her arm.

Police are searching for the victim’s 35-year-old husband, who fled the scene.
A knife has been recovered.
