JOHNSONVILLE, S.C. (AP) - One man has died and three people have been hurt in a stabbing in South Carolina.

Florence County Sheriff’s Maj. Michael Nunn told news outlets the attack happened around 6 p.m. Sunday in Johnsonville.

Coroner Keith von Lutcken said 31-year-old Clinton Poston died from his injuries at a hospital. The coroner said an autopsy is planned at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the other three people.

One person is in custody but the person’s name and possible charges have not been released.

Sheriff’s deputies have not released a possible motive.
