METAIRIE, La. (AP) - A woman has been accused of stabbing two people during an argument in a New Orleans suburb.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s spokesman Glen Boyd tells news outlets that 51-year-old Lisa Clouatre is accused of stabbing a woman and a 74-year-old man Tuesday afternoon in Metairie.

Deputies arrested Clouatre but her charges were not immediately available. It is unclear if she has a lawyer.

Boyd says the woman had been cut in her throat and the man was stabbed in his stomach. Both were in stable condition.

He says the man is a neighbor and had been drawn in the fight when it moved to the street.
