ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis County man is facing federal charges accusing him of supplying a fatal dose of fentanyl.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 23-year-old Jaleel Zakee Adams of Florissant was indicted in U.S. District Court last week on charges of distributing acetyl-fentanyl with a resulting death, along with weapons charges.

A man was found dead Nov. 15, 2017 due to acetyl-fentanyl intoxication. Federal prosecutors say Adams was arrested by deputy U.S. marshals at a hotel in St. Louis County.

Adams’ attorney declined comment. Adams is already facing drug and gun charges in St. Louis County Circuit Court after he was allegedly caught with heroin and crack cocaine in a hotel room in May 2017.
