DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - Attorneys for a southwestern Colorado man have entered not guilty pleas on his behalf in the November 2012 death of his 13-year-old son.

Mark Redwine was in court Friday on charges of second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in the death of Dylan Redwine.

Dylan disappeared while on a court-ordered visitation with his father near Durango. Some of the boy’s remains were found in June 2013 about 8 miles (13 kilometers) from his father’s house. His skull was found two years later in a different location with signs of blunt force trauma.

Mark Redwine’s trial is set to begin on Nov. 26 and last for four weeks.

Redwine was indicted last July, arrested in Bellingham, Washington and remains jailed with his bail set at $750,000.
