OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say an unlicensed driver crashed outside a terminal at Oakland International Airport, injuring four pedestrians.

No serious injuries were reported after the car jumped a curb and crashed in a drop-off area outside of Terminal 1 on Tuesday evening.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the 54-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and driving without a license after he told authorities his foot became stuck on the accelerator.

Authorities say the car went up onto a sidewalk. Four people complained of injuries, including one who was hit by flying luggage.

The crash backed up traffic at the airport but didn’t affect flights.
