Fox Business correspondent Charles Gasparino said Tuesday that former Trump aide Sam Nunberg plans on cooperating with the special counsel.

“just spoke w @NunbergSam he told me he’s fully cooperating now w Mueller’s team and he’s intending to go get treatment following his grand jury appearance on Friday,” Mr. Gasparino tweeted.

Mr. Nunberg made the cable news show rounds Monday, calling in to different networks, to express his displeasure at having his emails, texts and phone logs subpoenaed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Mr. Mueller’s team is investigating claims of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and asked for Mr. Nunberg’s communications with several members of the campaign and administration.

“I’m the first person to go out here and say I’m not cooperating, because it’s absolutely ridiculous what they want from me,” Mr. Nunberg said on MSNBC in a heated exchange.

He already appeared before the special counsel’s team last month, but was asked to appear again this week. He said Monday that he would refuse to comply with the most recent request adding that searching through his communications would take “50 hours,” but an interview with the Associated Press seemed to imply he would likely cooperate.
