MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica (AP) - Terry Taylor had 21 points and career-high tying 17 rebounds and Jarrett Givens scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half to help Austin Peay hold on for an 80-78 win over Central Connecticut State on Friday in the Jamaica Classic.

Zach Glotta added 13 points and Steve Harris had 10 points and five assists for Austin Peay (2-2).

Tyler Kohl made a layup and Joe Hugley hit a 3-pointer to trim Central Connecticut State’s deficit to 73-70 with three minutes to go. Glotta answered with a 3 before a jumper by Tyson Baptiste and, after an Austin Peay turnover, a dunk Kashaun Hicks pulled the Blue Devils within two with 1:17 left. Glotta missed a jumper on the other end and CCSU, despite grabbing three offensive rebounds, came up empty on its next possession. Glotta made two free throws with 17 seconds remaining and, after Baptiste hit a 3 to make it 78-77, Givens made two foul shots.

Ian Krishnan hit four 3-pointers and finished with 20 points for the Blue Devils (2-2). Kohl had 14 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
