KEENE, N.H. (AP) - The interim president of New Hampshire’s Keene State College has been selected to serve as its 11th president.
Melinda Treadwell is an alumna of Keene State and is the first in her family to attend college. She started serving as interim president on July 31, 2017. She joined the faculty in 2000. Treadwell also was CEO and provost of Antioch University New England.
The University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees announced Treadwell’s appointment on Monday. Board Chairman John Small said under Treadwell’s leadership, the campus and its programs have contributed greatly to the region and state.
