BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A 72-year-old man admits he intentionally caused a gas explosion inside his western New York home.
Santo Cok pleaded guilty to arson and reckless endangerment Monday in Erie County Court. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Cok disconnected a gas line at his home in April and lit a candle in an attempt to destroy his house. Police at the time said it was a suicide attempt. Cok was unhurt.
