DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Three people are dead after a two-car collision in the Florida Panhandle.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 21-year-old Dustin Lee Dupree of Freeport ran a red light and stuck a car driving on U.S. Highway 98 in Walton County late Friday night.
Dupree was killed and his 25-year-old passenger was critically injured. He struck a car driven by 43-year-old Robert Brown of Destin. Brown and his passenger, 44-year-old Meredith Snow of Destin, were also killed.
Investigators are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
